Our annual Spring Auction is the single most important fundraising event of WTT’s year. And thanks to all our many generous donors, we’ve been able to assemble another fabulous selection of more than 300 lots for you to bid on in 2024…
There’s fishing in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and overseas – often on private and exclusive beats available only via this auction, including trout, salmon, grayling, charr, bass, pike, barbel, carp, roach and more.
We’re also offering artwork, fishing tackle, expert-tied flies, literature and experience days. In short, with guide prices from £8 to £1500, we hope there’s something for everyone!
To keep costs as low as possible, we’re running this auction on our own website HERE – where you’ll also find all the info you need, including how to get a copy of the whole catalogue, how to view the lots, how to register to bid, and how to bid online or by post.
Bidding opens this morning, 15 March, and lots will close sequentially on 24 March starting at 3pm.
Just as in previous years, the funds we hope to raise will always be used wisely – going directly to help our team of Conservation Officers give practical advice and support to anyone who needs help, including fishing clubs, landowners, other conservation groups, and government bodies.
We also use this website, plus our social media and printed material, to spread the word about ‘making rivers shaggy again’ and we work with our sister NGOs to influence thinking on issues that impact our rivers and their trout from agriculture, sewage, commercial fishing and fish farming.
