River Glaven update
Posted on November 11, 2015
The River Glaven in Norfolk has benefited from significant investment in habitat improvement over the past few years, and the WTT has been a key partner in that work with major projects at Hunworth in 2010 and Bayfield in 2014.
The newsletter from the River Glaven Conservation Group (RGCG) includes an update on the Bayfield Lake project, which was a large scale, multi- party project managed by Tim Jacklin for the WTT and completed in September 2014. It’s good to see that the new channel created is now home to a rich diversity of bird, plant and invetebrate life as well as fish.
