We’re pleased to announce the return of our prize draw for an exciting ladies’ fishing experience, for those who would like to try it for the first time. Thanks to the generous support of a Wild Trout Trust donor, we have three prizes to gift this year!
Our winners will each receive a day of fishing on the beautiful River Calder in West Yorkshire, with expert tuition from guide and fly tyer Phillippa Hake. They will also take home a box of Phillippa’s handmade flies, and can each access £200 for their travel and accommodation.
With the chance to escape into peaceful natural surroundings, in very good company, this is sure to be a memorable experience. Last year’s winners, Noake Akiba and Amie Cook, certainly had a lovely time.
The opportunity is offered in memory of Group Captain John Grindon CVO DSO AFC, who served as a bomber pilot in the Second World War and later commanded the Queen’s Flight, and was the father of our Trust & Data Manager Christina Bryant.
