Wild Trout Trust welcomes Sir Charles Napier as Trustee

We’re delighted to announce that Sir Charles Napier will be joining our charity’s board as our newest Trustee. Charlie has worked in the political and media relations worlds for almost all of his 30-year career, and most recently was Co-Founder of Atticus Partners.

Charlie has significant experience in advising organisations that are focused on improving nature, developing animal welfare policies, and rural conservation. He is a former local authority councillor and grew up on the banks of the River Itchen, which gave him a lifelong passion for fishing and led to his involvement with the Wild Trout Trust over the last two decades.

“I’m delighted that Charlie has agreed to join us as a Trustee. He has been a member, and a keen advocate, for many years. It’s great news for us that he will be bringing that culture, and his business expertise, to our charity’s board,” said our Director Shaun Leonard.
