Three Fly Challenge raises £4,378.20 for the Wild Trout Trust

This June, we returned to Meon Springs Fly Fishery in Hampshire for the annual Three Fly Challenge. This friendly one-day tournament has a fun twist: only three flies are allowed, with points awarded according to difficulty and the size of the fish. There were fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a Sage rod for first place. But with lunch, an auction, and a raffle included in each ticket, no-one went home empty handed!

The tournament is organised by Neil Mundy, one of our star volunteers, and the proceeds go towards our conservation work. We’re delighted to share that this year’s event raised an incredible £4,378.20 for our charity. Huge thanks to everyone who took part, and special thanks to Neil, to Greg Adlam (the fishery manager) for his support, and to Mark Roberts (Lost Lake Fly Fishing) for donating the flies and keeping score.
