Put your skills to the test with the Three Fly Challenge

As summer approaches, keen fly fishers once again hear the call of the Three Fly Challenge! This friendly annual tournament takes place at Meon Springs Fly Fishery in Hampshire, and has a unique twist: only three flies are allowed, with points awarded according to difficulty and the size of the fish. This year’s Challenge will take place on Saturday 13 June.

The Three Fly Challenge is a great way to test your skills, and enjoy the good company of your fellow fly fishers, in beautiful countryside. Meon Springs is one of the region’s top stillwater trout fisheries, and there are fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a Sage rod. Tickets include breakfast, lunch, and flies, with the option to take part in a raffle.

Even better, all proceeds from the event will go towards our conservation work. The Three Fly Challenge is organised by one of our star volunteers, Neil Mundy, and another stalwart supporter, Mark Roberts of Lost Lake Fly Fishing, is generously donating the flies to be used on the day. We’re so grateful to everyone who brings this wonderful event to life every year.

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED — Thank you for your support!
