The Foundation for Water Research (now part of the Institution of Environmental Sciences) (FWR/IES) and the Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) have published a Freshwater Biology and Ecology Handbook.
The book focuses on invertebrate assessment methods and is aimed at water managers, ecologists, freshwater biologists and students and is free to download.
