Join a River Habitat Workshop in Northumberland
Posted on October 16, 2015
The Wild Trout Trust, in partnership with the Environment Agency and Northumberland Rivers Trust, invite you to attend a habitat workshop on the River Blyth. The workshop will incorporate a river walk, to discuss issues currently affecting the river, before demonstrating simple techniques that can be employed to improve river habitat quality.
These days are ideal for people wishing to learn more about habitat management for fish and other wildlife. The workshop will cover the considerations that should be made prior to undertaking work and the permissions that may be required.
Ideally suited to angling clubs and riparian owners planning to undertake their own improvements but also of interest to anyone that enjoys spending time by their local rivers and would like to understand a little more about them.
Anyone interested in attending, please respond to firstname.lastname@example.org
The River Blyth Trout Habitat Workshop will be held on 14 November, 2015 from 10am – 1pm (can be extended)
Meet at 10am:
Humford Steppingstones, Church Lane,
