Afonydd Cymru, the umbrella body for the rivers trusts of Wales, seeks a new CEO, following the very sad death of Stephen Marsh-Smith.

Chief Executive Part Time: 2 ½ days per week

Salary £43,000 (per annum pro rata)

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead the Rivers Trust movement in Wales. In the face of multiple challenges from development, a biodiversity crisis, agricultural pollution and climate change, we need a visionary leader to advocate for significant improvements to our water environment and to help deliver practical improvements on the ground. There is enormous potential for our activities to grow significantly and for this role to expand. Consequently, we are looking for someone with flair, entrepreneurial ability and a broad skill set to turn our vision for healthy rivers into a reality.
