Brian Clarke retires from The Times

Brian Clarke’s final fishing column for The Times appears today (3 September). After 27 years of writing thoughtful and thought provoking articles about angling and the issues and politics around it, he has retired.
Brian was for many years an active and very effective President of the Wild Trout Trust. His column in The Times gave unique coverage in the mainstream media to important issues and will be sorely missed.
