One day for 1 rod fishing the Rivers Loddon and Lyde near Basingstoke, Hampshire
One day for 1 rod fishing the Rivers Loddon and Lyde, two chalkstreams near Basingstoke. The Club has a huge amount of exclusive water with a lot of variety, so you may fish for stocked browns and rainbows in the lower reaches of the Loddon or wild fish in the upper reaches of the Loddon and the Lyde. With clear water, good weed cover and early mayfly, as well as great daddy long-legs hatches, this is excellent chalkstream fishing in quiet countryside a short drive from West London. The fishing requires a good level of river fly fishing experience and agility as banks can be steep. Guided by Gresham Club Chairman, Paul Edwards. Date by agreement, 2019 trout season.
