The Ultimate Fly Fishing Pyrenees Tour, eight nights and seven days of culture and gastronomic guided tours and fishing for up to 4 people. This is a luxury trip with top-class accommodation, food and wine, and fishing in the dramatic Spanish Pyrenees. It includes a one-day private wine tour and a Michelin-starred lunch in a private château or a helicopter trip to remote glacial lakes to sight-fish for trout with dry flies. Fishing is for native zebra (Mediterranean) trout, brown and rainbow trout and Iberian barbel. Both the fishing and the tours and will be tailored to your interests. Previous WTT clients hosted by Salvelinus have commented on the quality of the guiding, food and accommodation as well as the fishing: “a Spanish cultural experience rather than a typical fishing lodge and so much more enjoyable for it.” Includes all meals and transport but excludes international flights. Fish for trout and Arctic char on the rivers Breiðdalsa and Jökla in east Iceland prior to the salmon season, five nights and four days for up to 4 people. The package includes accommodation and breakfast at a luxurious fishing lodge for five nights. Self-catering or local restaurants for lunch and evening meals. “...giving a rod average of around 37 fish for 7 days. Biggest trout was 29”, 8lb 3oz, biggest char was 5lb... As with all statistics the figures do not tell the whole story and everyone agreed that the 4-fish day was an excellent day’s fishing.” Excludes flights to Egilstaddir and car hire (4-wheel drive required). A trip to the beautiful Futa Lodge in Chile for 2 guests for four nights and three days’ fishing. Futa Lodge is situated in the Valle de Las Escalas on the Futaleufú River, in the Tenth Region of Chile. The lodge sits on a high riverbank overlooking the river and is situated on a private ranch. The high-gradient, trout-rich Futaleufú River flows right by the front door of the lodge. Browns and rainbows are wild and healthy and can range up to five or more pounds. Trout fishing in Northern Patagonia, Argentina for 2 guests for four nights and three days’ fishing. Brown, rainbow and brook trout and landlocked salmon may be targeted from the new Northern Patagonia Lodge, which is on the banks of the Upper Chimehuin River. The lodge gives access to a wide range of lake and river fishing including ‘technical’ small-stream fishing in addition to the Chimehuin, which is a ‘trophy trout water’.
