Two days for 2 rods on the Salisbury & District’s waters. A rare opportunity for non-members to fish its extensive waters with one day guided by Alex Jardine. Alex was a member of the England Youth Team, is excellent company and very willing to share his expertise in traditional and new techniques. He is a member of SADAC and these are his ‘home’ waters. The fishing includes beats on the Avon, Wylye, Nadder, Bourne and Ebble – some of the very best Wessex chalkstream beats and you may fish the Mayfly. There is normally no guest access to these beats (other than Amesbury) during the Mayfly. 2020 season.
Two days for 2 rods fishing for wild trout on any of the hotel’s fabulous beats. With fantastic fishing across the best of the Tamar system, there are always trout and grayling (when in season) to delight anglers of all abilities. The hotel has also kindly donated a double/twin room on a B&B basis. By arrangement, 2020 season.
Two days for 2 rods on the River Ebble, Wiltshire. This perfect, small chalkstream is a tributary of the Avon. Wild brown trout and grayling. This stretch is a designated Wild Fish Protection Zone. 2020 season.

One day for 1 rod on Pete Tyjas’s last ever guided day. Pete is editor-in-chief of Fly Culture, owner of Devon School of Fly Fishing and is offering his last day guiding on a trout-fishing safari in Devon. The day will involve fishing a number of rivers across the county from the well-known to the not-so-well-known in search of wild brown trout, or salmon if you prefer. Pete will take you to some of his ‘secret spots’ too. If you have ever wanted to fish in Devon and would like to have a taste of what is on offer in this trout-and-salmon-rich county then this lot is for you. Includes a night at the famous fishing hotel, The Fox & Hounds, which sits on the banks of the River Taw. 2020 season.
A day of reservoir trout fishing from a boat for 2 rods on Chew Valley or Blagdon Lakes in Somerset with expert and fully qualified guide, Martin Cottis. If conditions permit, dry-fly fishing is what Martin and many of his clients really enjoy. Suitable for any level of experience. Tackle can be supplied. 2020 season.
One day for 2 rods on the River Avon at Heale, Middle Woodford. 2½ miles of main river and several carriers running through the parkland surrounding Heale House. A glorious setting with a fantastic head of fish. 2020 season after July weedcut.
One day for 2 rods trout fishing on the Duchy Waters of Dartmoor with professional local guides, Paul Kenyon and Geoff Stephens. The River Dart and its tributaries offer fantastic wild trout fishing in a beautiful and sometimes challenging environment. It helps to fish with two expert guides who know the area extremely well and can find the best places based on weather and conditions. Date to be arranged in 2020 season. Early booking is advised.
A consecutive Friday and Saturday April to July 2020 (by mututal agreement) for 1 rod on the River Allen on Gaunt’s Water and High Hall Fishing. Guided by member and former WTT trustee, Neil Lloyd. These beats are not stocked, all wild brown trout. Wading is necessary so would suit reasonably fit, experienced, small-stream angler.
One day for 2 rods on either Charles Rangeley-Wilson’s private beat on the Upper Frome in Dorset or one of his local Norfolk chalkstreams, depending on availability. These rivers are good enough for The Accidental Angler, so a treat is in store. 2020 season.
