3 rods for 2 days, 12 and 13 August 2019, salmon fishing on two private beats of the River Tyne.
A unique opportunity for 3 rods for two days (fixed dates: 12 & 13 August 2019) to fish two private beats on the River Tyne: Lee Hall for one day and Countess Park for one day. The Tyne is consistently England’s top salmon river and salmon of 20lb and 30lb have been caught on the Countess Park beat recently. The Lee Hall beat lies immediately downstream and has been under-fished in recent years. The beats are on the edge of the Northumberland National Park near Wark, where the river runs through a mixture of woodlands and pasture giving the most unspoilt and beautiful environment to fish. Proceeds will be used to help fund work in the Tyne catchment.
