This is our library of resources and it includes our own publications and videos as well as some suggestions on further reading and links to other websites with relevant material. We have also included pages that relate to specific topics such as stocking, habitat restoration, and hydropower. These topic pages will expand over time will include our own papers which consolidate current scientifc research on these topics.

Our practical guides to habitat management and improvement are available to buy from our shop and to download here.
Articles that we have published in fishing magazines such as Trout and Salmon and Total Flyfisher or in our own Salmo Trutta journal are available to download as PDF files here.
'Mayfly in the Classroom' is a simple and low cost way of bringing river ecology to life in the classroom developed by us. A full set of teacher's materials is available here.
Videos
There are two web pages of video material. One page devoted to 'how to' videos that demonstrate particular techniques for habitat improvement, including some project case studies.These have been made with professional film makers, Fish On, during WTT Practical Visits and Projects. The other video page is of more general interest and includes WTT videos assciated with Trout in the Town, the trailer for the WTT Habitat DVD 'Rivers: Working for Wild Trout' and videos from other sources such as WWF's 'Rivers on the Edge' and Fish On's 'Lifecycle of the Mayfly' . Further reading
Through our own staff, supporters and Advisory Panel we keep up to date with the latest research and publications relating to Salmo trutta. Some relevant and (we think) interesting books are listed here, and some resources such as other websites. This is not an exhaustive list, particularly as many articles are published in academic journals that are not publicly available.
