Three nights and 6 hunts for 2 guns, shooting doves near Cordoba in Argentina, staying at La Domrida Lodge. Cordoba is considered the world’s dove shooting capital. The area is annually inhabited by over 50 million doves which reproduce over five times a year. The lodge has 55 locations all within a short drive through rolling farmland. The doves are donated to a local food kitchen for needy children. La Dormida is a purpose-built lodge with single (queen-sized beds) and double (two queen-sized beds) ensuite rooms. Dinner is à la carte with superb fresh local food including an asado (barbecue) at lunchtime and extensive wine cellar for the evening. Included: 3 nights’ accommodation, all guiding, wines, food, beverages, soft drinks. Excluded: flights, airport transfers, gun licence, cartridges, gun rental and gratuities. One day for 1 gun, pheasant shooting at Rectory Farm near Water Stratford, Buckinghamshire. This is a small-scale driven shoot on a farm where conservation is a high priority. Joint winner of the 2014 Purdey Award for Game and Conservation for outstanding results in improving game bird habitats and the biodiversity. The day will be 8 guns, bag is 20-30 pheasants, and the shoot runs 3 times a year. Bring your own sandwich lunch, afternoon tea provided. A weekday in early November or December 2018.
