1 day for 2 rods on the Rectory beat of the river Test at Mottisfont on September 6th 2014. This lovely beat has been extensively improved and restored by the National Trust over the past five years. Interesting and varied fishing with some good fast water as well as deep holding glides.
This beat has its own fishing cabin, but you are invited to visit Halford’s thatched fishing hut on the nearby Oakley beat, to pay homage to the father of dry-fly fishing in his centenary year.
