Bagnor Estate and Charles Jardine
One day for 2 rods fishing the River Lambourn at Hunts Green near Newbury, guided by author, artist and renowned fisherman, Charles Jardine on Wednesday 29 April 2015. Two miles of private, lightly-fished river. The Lambourn is a small but perfect chalk stream, crystal-clear with plenty of ranunculus supporting good fly life and immaculately keepered. All wild trout and grayling, some very large! This river fishes very well early in the season.
Upstream dry fly and un-weighted nymph only.
One day for 4 rods on a mile of the Test at Mottisfont (Testfield) on Saturday 11 July 2015. Superb Middle Test fishing on the right bank only between Compton and Lower Brook.
Andrew Impey and Nick Measham
One day for 2 rods on a private beat of the Upper Itchen at Chilland, guided by Nick Measham who has fished this beat for many years. This exclusive beat offers pristine chalk stream fishing for wild brown trout and grayling. Double-bank, around ⅔ of a mile in length. It has changed little since it was fished by Viscount Grey of Falloden over 100 years ago (the ruins of his fishing cottage are nearby). Fly hatches are prolific and wild trout average well over 1lb (2lb+ not uncommon). By arrangement, 2015 season.
Fly Odyssey UK and Gilly Bate
One day for 2 rods on the River Test at Lower Mill, Longparish, Hampshire, with professional and enthusiastic guiding by Gilly Bate. This is one the most charming beats of fishing on the Test, situated in the stunning water gardens of a beautiful home in the village of Longparish. The beat includes main river and two carriers. Wading is essential to locate the best of the fishing but it is neither deep nor overly fast and the view upstream as you fish is heavenly. Regulars return time and time again knowing that they will enjoy both the fishing and the ambience.
2015 date by arrangement after the mayfly. Equipment can be provided if required.
1 day for 2 rods, River Wye, Haddon Estate, Derbyshire, guided by Glen Pointon plus 1 night dinner, B&B and lunch at the Peacock at Rowsley

Mike Johnson & Howard Taylor and Barker-Mill Estates
Salmon and Trout
One day for 3 rods fishing the famous Little River beat of the River Test on the Testwood and Nursling fishery for salmon and sea-trout. The fishery and all the surrounding land is part of a private estate owned by the Barker-Mill family since 1527. This beat is at the very bottom of the river Test near Southampton and has miles of tidal and non-tidal water to explore. The technique used is exclusively single-handed rod and heavy nymph – an unusual method developed here and now widely adopted for chalk stream salmon. A guide for the day is recommended but not included.
To be taken between June and September 2015 and bookings must be made before end of April 2015.

Trout and Grayling
One day’s fishing for 3 rods on 1½ miles of the Lambourn at Weston, guided by experienced instructor and Lambourn guide, Mark Shickle. Clear-water stalking brown trout and some monster grayling. Beautiful water meadows and interesting, challenging fishing.
To be taken in 2015 season on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
Test and Anton
A day for 2 rods on the Fullerton water of the River Anton and River Test. The Anton beats hold some very good wild fish and the Test is well-stocked. This is superb chalk stream fishing on first-class water.
